Functionalities
  • Slight adjustments to the general event cooldown for main and side events
  • Click area of a waterswitch enlarged to simplify connecting new hose lines (manual / GF)
  • Ghost models can now be selected with a left click. Selecting either selects the associated vehicle (status 3 or 4) or flies to the current position of the vehicle (all other statuses). A repositioning during the approach is thus possible by means of T, as soon as the vehicle arrives at the new location, status 4 is automatically set.
  • Revision of the group leader logic of the fire department. For the execution of all actions, firefighters within the vehicles are now also taken into account.hey automatically get out after the command and execute the action. This makes it possible to command the cutting free of trapped persons in cars directly from the rescue vehicle, or to let a TLF automatically place a waterswitch (GfSupplyToVehicleCommand, GfPlaceSwitchCommand, GfConnectToVehicleCommand, GfConnectToSwitchGhostCommand, GfConnectToSwitchCommand, GfConnectToLadderCommand, GfConnectToHydrantCommand & GfUseVehicleCutter)
  • New command for the group leaders (also for TLFs) which enables the dismantling of a waterswitch. To do this, hover over the waterswitch with SHIFT and execute the command. Thereupon the waterswitch is completely dismantled. All other water logics on the vehicle remain in place
  • Fire spread adjusted. For a normal building fire, one fire brigade should be enough. In addition, civilian vehicles now have a significantly higher fire resistance.

Editor enabled again #ZeichenSetzen

As one or the other has already noticed, we were together with Wegberg, RetroFittingen and Kieslingen in the talk at dEEsTRIKER. Again and again there are black sheeps who disregard terms of use and generally do what they want. Models, which were created exclusively for Emergency, are suddenly found in other games. Partially they were even sold, although the creator has made these models available for FREE, for the Emergency scene, and so on. Ultimately, more and more modders tried to protect their works, from unauthorized change / distribution. But when you reflect on that, it unfortunately leads to modding dying out at some point.


We would like to set a #ZeichenSetzen together and put the modding again more in the foreground. The editor is enabled again with the 1.0.2. Who is interested in modding, can just try around. Just look at what was done and how something works. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have. Nevertheless we ask ALL for the following: If someone wants to create a SubMod, please contact us. A simple message is the easiest way and leads as good as always to a solution :) Basically we keep our terms of use. Submods are not "allowed". However, this is general. There are already projects that use us as a base and are developed as a Lüdenscheid submod. So again: Just get in touch. We do not bite. Quite the opposite: We always listen to you and would be happy if Emergency 5 is also enlivened with many mods :)



Graphic Engine | Experimental Mode

In the Lüdenscheid Settings you will now find a new setting item: "Graphic Engine". Here you can switch to "Experimental". This mainly serves us in the development. We try to reduce the problem with the ground by changing different values. If you often have problems with the ground, you can try this mode to see if it is better. We also appreciate feedback on this. Especially if it became better with someone, an info would be helpful. We have prepared a feedback form for this purpose: Umfrage Grafik Engine


Note: This setting can cause objects to take up to 2 seconds to load completely. But the probability of a crash of the graphic engine should be much lower. The setting is MP independent, the host and the clients do not have to have the same setting.



Bug Fixes

  • External units on Linzing now go out again with the usual number of personal (LDS LZ2)
